Il borgo di Villanova d'Albenga
Village based on rural and pastoral economy, Framura goes through centuries and peoples. From Charles the Great to the Benedictines. Object of the conservative intervention the Carolingian Tower of St. Martin’s, in the hamlet of Costa.
La torre
Situated on a high position, it was a refuge for citenry in case of attacks. Destroyed by the French in 1450, its ruins have been cleaned again by vegetation and recovered. A lightning underlines the walls of the castle.

The ruins of a castle and of a village kept intact during the centuries. Sesta Godano, survived to struggles for powerful for the control of the territory, conserves its whole history. The conservative intervention aims at making a visiting itinerary in the castle area

The village of Cogorno houses the Basilica Fieschi and the Palazzo dei Conti of the end of the 13th century. Monuments of Ligurian Romanesque-Gothic style in slate and Carrara marble. The conservative intervention realized a map of visiting itineraries and a multimedia signage.

Capital in the famous plot of the Fieschis, it actually exists from the 10th century. Its ruins have been housing events since 1900. The conservative intervention aims to create an open-work museum about the rebuilding of a fortified settlement.

In the old village there is still the intense atmosphere of Middle Ages. The castle, built in the 12th century to defend the citenry from the Saracenic raids, is now restored at amphitheatre. Among the fortifications a historical thematic itinerary in the old town centre

Situated on high grounds, ready to safeguard, the Castle of Savignone is a typical manor of Middle Ages. The Fieschis managed from here their lordship in the Valle Scrivia. The conservative intervention renovated the asset to do an exhibition centre with explanatory panels
