A day devoted to an important medieval castle. An uncommon visit to the Fieschis’ Castle at Montoggio, restored and today perfectly usable.

On Saturday, April 5th, a day devoted to the Fieschis’ Castle at Montoggio, a medieval castle recently restored and given back to the citizenry. An important open day that gives to all people the possibility of an uncommon visit which, after a careful restyling work, is today perfectly usable.

From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. you can come up to the castle following a route along which, thanks to tablets at your disposal, you can recall the important events that caused its destruction. Through a developed reality app unique in Liguria, you can immerse yourselves in the suggestive reconstruction of the last years of life in the castle, guided by the voices and appearances of the personalities who lived them and who are present in the form of three-dimensional avatars.

The actors of the Compagnia Govi who gave voice to the personalities and the historical group Fieschis of Casella will be present at the open day.

Realized in collaboration with ETT, the developed reality app is already available on App Store and Play Store and downloadable free of charge on the device iOS and Android.

With this initiative Liguria Heritage Tour, the Regione Liguria project, organized by Filse and entrusted to Datasiel for technological implementation, that aims at valueing 97 historical and cultural sites object of the interventions of asse 4 of Por Fesr 2007-2013, enters in vivo.

Near St. Rocco’s Chapel a buffet meal with taste of local typical products will be set up.
A shuttle circular service from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. is envisaged with departure from the Montoggio soccer field.
